With that in mind, we've developed an aluminum mainspring housing that is a direct replacement in the DP 1911 Ice Magwell system. Weighing in at a mere 0.6 oz. this aluminum mainspring housing reduces weight over the steel mainspring housing allowing your 1911 to make weight in your division.
