Appears to be well built. Gunsmith made it work, but it was a 4 hr job. Should have been an hour max. High spots on the middle of the rails were an issue. I liked the idea, but the execution was not a plus. I will use other brands next time. Never had this issue in over 20 builds. Once that was fixed it went together very well. Response from Chuck- All the 1911 slides we sell will need custom fitting. Most gunsmith purposed slides have oversized rails so the gunsmith can fit them. Slides made with drop in tolerances will be sloppy fits that just are not the desired outcome in our target market of custom and competition 1911's.
