The Max Comp was designed in conjunction with Max Michel and has been used by Max in competition for the last two years and has proven to be a winning combination. This comp has an oversize first port to disperse a large volume of pressure and control muzzle rise and the remaining pressure is then distributed through the final two smaller ports resulting in a very soft and flat shooting pistol.
Specs
Titanium. Threaded .685" x 40 tpi for bull or hybrid type barrels. Overall length is 2.150", diameter is .995", flat to flat width is .938". Through hole is align reamed to .400" which is sufficient for .355",.356" and .357" bullets.

The Bedell Max Comp Titanium is a solid product. It's finished nicely, but one thing you need to realize if you want to install this yourself, you will have to run a tap into the threads as they are very tight. It would not even start on my BarSto bull barrel. One pass with the tap (available @ Brownells) removed a substantial amount of material, then it fit perfectly. Performance is very good, the extra large first chamber is more efficient (in my analysis) than the other brands.
