The redesigned, dimensionally-correct magazine body improves feeding in all double stack 1911 (2011) pistols with the Atlas's 13-coil spring and competition follower kit. These competition magazines work with all modular-grip double stack 1911 pistols. These hi-cap magazines have a capacity of 29 rounds. The 9mm magazine tube also works with .38 Super and .38 Super Comp.

These are designed for USPSA rules that take advantage of the variance allowed. They have 4mm pads and are actually 171.25 in length and may need some TLC to fit the gauge.

Beware of IPSC / USPSA
By Far This Atlas 170 mag work right out of the package ! I run an Open gun and this mag just work right out of the box ! Very reasonable price ! very reliable! my goto mag ! Just a heads up tho, the description on Atlas website stated 170mm mags but they didn't clarify if this is IPSC legal.... I ran into issue with IPSC match just down at the Florida Pan American Match, So I email Atlas and they confirm this mag is USPSA legal (171.25) If you want to use it for IPSC (170) you need the 3mm basepad. I've try putting MBX / different base company's basepad but they all didn't fix so I assume you can only get it from Atlas. but overall still excellent mag for 2011 open guns higher recommend
