2011 is for the original 2011 STI grip which is also the same as Cheely , MPA, Limcat and similar.
2 Triggers out of spec. Sits to far forward
Purchased one as a replacement for a exsisting fusion 2011 trigger in a different color and a second for my tool box as a backup. Neither trigger is usable. Bow can be fitted, but the stem on the bow creates a 5mm gap between the trigger shoe and bow on one trigger and a 4.5mm gap on the other. This leaves a gap behind the trigger in the trigger well (you can see the back of the trigger.) Customer service claims they are 2011 triggers not 1911 double stack triggers even though I have another one I bought from fusion that is a “2011” that doesn’t have this gap. It was Almost like they read some google AI answer. My firearm uses the same specs as a Staccato 2011. Even fusion changed these to 1911 double stack triggers on their website. Another reviewer has the same problem as do several people on message board's. Btw one of the triggers had a glob of JB weld on the back like the stem was glued in. Sheesh!
Response from Chuck- This are based on the original STI 2011 design which the stacatto, prodigy, girsan, tisas are not exact specs and several parts do not interchange. Fusion changed his trigger and name to 1911DS. These are from before the change and for the 2011. Many manufacturers are now making model specific parts for the prodigy and staccato. So be careful when buying 2011 designated parts for guns that are not 2011 as some parts do not interchange. Triggers, magwells and mag releases are the main culprits. Steve was trying to put them in the models they were not designed for. In fact the picture on fusions web page matched what we have. The new fusion trigger is different than their own picture. Not the worst, far from the best.
I purchased this to install on a set of new Trinity Aluminum grips on my STI. The trigger fit into the grips, but set too far forward, exposing the rear of the trigger shoe, where it attaches to the trigger bow. It had more play than I thought could be resolved with tuning the rear of the bow, so I returned it. Would not recommend. I replaced it with a Bul Armory trigger that fit much better.
Response from Chuck - The fusion trigger does have a pretravel adjustment tab on the bow to adjust during installation.
