Works, but it has its flaws
In short, it does its job. My only complaint is that the holes are reamed with a VERY tight reamer. Rounds that fail this gauge will pass almost 100% of the time on all my 9mm pistol’s barrels using the plunk test. Double check rounds that fail this gauge in your barrel and you’ll find they aren’t actually rejects at all.
Check your reloads, so they will not stick in the barrel of your gun.

This chamber checker, (which is very reasonably priced) will guarantee that none of your reloads will stick in the chamber when the slide moves forward. There is one brand of brass, CBC 9mm that Always sticks in the chamber of all my pistols and Chamber Checker eliminates that PainintheAss.

Super Tight
I have Lyman, Dillon and Shockbottle gauges in addition to this one. I one one in both 9mm and 45. The gauge is SUPER tight with coated or cast bullets. Most 40s and 9s that fail this gauge will fit perfectly into my other gauges. This would be helpful if you have a extremely tight chamber. Both my CZ's and STI's will shoot 99.9% of the things that fail this gauge.
