Following the success of the DP 1911 ICE MAGWELL, along with the requests of our customers, we added a NO GAP Insert that closes the void in the front of the magwell, improving the consistency of smooth, fast reloads. Now we have created an equally impressive 1911 magazine to partner with this product. The DP 1911 NO GAP ICE MAGWELL forced us to design a 1911 mag that exceeded all conventional limits. "OLD SCHOOL" 1911 Mags needed a tang in the front to act as a stop on the front of the frame. The newly created DP SUPREME TACTICAL 1911 MAGAZINES solve the problem of seating the magazine in our DP 1911 NO GAP ICE MAGWELL. Without this newly designed magazine, the NO GAP Insert would not allow a conventional magazine to seat. Solving one problem, we didn't stop there. The mags are DP reliable, of course, and have an easy-to-remove CNC machined aircraft aluminum basepad, not plastic. We built them to withstand a nuclear blast (although we haven't tested that yet). The No Gap Competition Basepad's wedge shape extends as long as possible for positive seating, but still fits both IDPA and USPSA boxes. There are finger grooves on the sides of the base just in case you need to pull a stuck mag out fast. Reliably feeds to a solid slide lock when empty due to a stainless steel follower that does not wear out like mags with polymer followers. From top to bottom this magazine is made to last and to solve the demands that our customers need out of a 1911 mag.
