AP Custom’s newest and most innovative competition shell carriers. The L2 Series of shotshell carriers works on the emerging concept of two-round shotshell loading. This method allows the competitive shooter to reach proficiency in reloading the shotgun much faster, with much less practice compared to traditional weak-hand loading from the belt. Like all AP Custom shell carriers, the L2 Series of shotshell carriers is CNC machined from solid billet aluminum, and use our proven 303 Hi-Yield springs to withstand the most rigorous use. The L2 Series is designed to retain 12 ga. shotshells of any length.
L2: The L2 is a 2-round 12 ga. shell carrier and comes equipped with a MOLLE tab for attaching to a MOLLE vest, chest rig, or nylon web belt, allowing the end user to configure his or her own custom modular loading system.
L2/4: The L2/4 is a 4-round 12 ga. shell carrier system which consists of two L2 shell carriers mounted to an adjustable billet aluminum backer plate mounted to a Blade-Tech Tek-Lok. The L2/4 backer plate allows the shooter to adjust the angle, orientation, and spacing between the two L2s to his or her liking. The backer plate is also drilled and tapped to accept Safariland ELS and Blade-Tech MOLLE attachments.
L2/6: The L2/6 is a 6-round 12 ga. shell carrier system which consists of three L2 shell carriers mounted to an adjustable billet aluminum backer plate mounted to a Blade-Tech Tek-Lok. The L2/6 backer plate allows the shooter to adjust the angle, orientation, and spacing between the three L2s to his or her liking. The backer plate is also drilled and tapped to accept Safariland ELS and Blade-Tech MOLLE attachments.
