They are very hard to put on and take off.After talking with dawson thaey told me this was normal.

I use Dawson mag extensions on all of my mags. Plus 4 for .40 cal and plus 5 for 9mm. Easy off and on for cleaning...but purchase the repair kit...eventually you will loose the detent ball and need another. Last mag extension I purchased was for PCC in 9mm...went from 17 rounds in standard G17 mag to 22 rounds...great for reloads on classifiers.
