I had this installed in my DVC, needed minor fitting even though it dropped right in. It makes the grip on the pistol more secure and stable. Should have purchased this long ago.

This part is nice, it's finished well and feels good to the touch. The installation was effortless, no fitting needed for my STI. For many years my weak hand thumb was rested on the side on the side of the slide stop, pointed towards the muzzle. Hearing all the talk about the advantages of the thumb rest, and increased "control" and "target indexing", I tried one of the frame mounted products. The experience was terrible, I was going backwards fast, but I told myself I just needed to get used to it. So, after many practice sessions and matches, and moving around trying to find the sweet spot for me, I decided that it wasn't for me. This Nitro Fin 2.0 is perfect for me, and I suspect it's perfect for anyone that grips their gun with the weak thumb pointed in the direction of the target.

I had to do some filing because it didn't fit quite right but once I got it done it is a dream the way your thumb rest on it. I am very happy with this product. I bought one to use it with 2 Kimbers 9mm,45acp and Sig1911 . it works great in all of them.
