I took my X9 straight to the range the day I got it. Most accurate pistol I’ve ever shot. There is no slip when shooting. Everything is perfectly fitted to my hand. Only think I think needs an upgrade on it is the rear sights. They are a little hard to keep lined up when trying to squeeze off quick rounds but other than that the fun is phenomenal.

Some firearms are ground breaking, this is one of them. Wilson Combat hit a home run in form and function. If you are a 1911 die hard owner, you really want this one added to your collection. The slide to rail fit can only be described as "hydraulic", with a feed rate that is 100%. Out of the box I have over 1k of flawless 9mm rounds, not something that comes without serious design commitment. The X9 will be my go to Steel match firearm.
