Alpha X insert

The 1911 insert does not work properly if not use with the muzzle support The pistol swings.

Response from Chuck- The nature of these trigger guard retention holsters is that the gun will move and pivot some. I have used them for years. The Alpha-X/Racemaster holsters provide the most secure retention of any of them due to the design of the trigger guard bar. The muzzle support does provide another level of support if you are not comfortable with the movement without it. Most experienced shooters understand this and accept it as just the way they are. Some do not but it is important to realize this when buying them so i have allowed this review and provided this response even though this is the best of this type of holster and does not deserve a 4 rating.
