Series 80 to 70 custom shim review

Ordered a .060" shim to convert my Colt Combat Commander from a series 80 firing pin block system to a traditional series 70 pistol. Found the web site easy to use.... the product arrived in a timely manner and the shim was excellent quality (I did smooth down the edges with some 220 grit wet/dry and oil). Converted the 1911 over the weekend and the pistol runs fine - trigger feels better but that might just be my imagination! I grew up in Central Kentucky before moving to Houston, TX... so figured Shooters Connection would be good folks to deal with.... and they are! RL
