Very important that you keep lock on before taking a shot while sighting in scope. Many dot sights are difficult to sight because when you for example raise the P.O.A. the shot may go up and to the left or up and to the right - making a back and forth set of adjustments necessary. This scope , hopefully typical of their production, does not do that in a pronounced way making sight in easier. Adjusting dot size and turning on./off always a pain with these dot sights and this one is no different - however, the dot is round and clear. Selected 8 M.O.A. dot for practical shooting and this was a wise decision - dot is a bit small for an 8 M.O.A. dot but fine for competition to my mind. At price offered it is a good value - especially given the excellent C-More warranty.
