I have owned a dozen timers in the last 30 years. The CED has the loudest start signal, is compact, and extremely versatile. The timer will pick up 22 caliber shots from a rifle with a plain barrel. The timer also allows for custom delays, which make it possible to practice 22 rim fire steel alone without missing a shot. Highly recommended.

Easy to use. Loud. Center buttons are a bit small for my fingers. Battery holds up well
