Our guide rods allow the use of standard ISMI springs or stock Gen. 3 springs, allowing you to tune the pistol for whatever ammunition you choose for improved performance and reliability.
Jager Gen. 4 Guide Rods have been designed from the ground up, not simply an "adapter" which causes inconsistent cycling and lockup due to incorrect fit to frame. With our Gen. 4 specific guide rods, the rear end of the rod sits properly in the frame with no movement or play. One of the main benefits of adding a steel guide rod is to improve consistency of cycling, not decrease consistency.
