Was not what I was expecting. Feels cheap. You can tell STI took the standard grip and melted the dots into the plastic. I can still see the serrations on the front. Not worth double the price.
Response from Chuck- Yes these are STI factory grips that have been hand shaped and stippled by Extreme. Stippling can be done several ways , some dremel but most use a soldering iron tip , some even make their own proprietary tips. But this is how they have been doing the STI plastic grips for 20 years. So yes that is what these are, factory grips that are shaped and textured using a heated tip. The factory grip is 129.00 , these are 181.00, not twice the price. A modest amount for an hours worth of labor and overhead.
