The ZEV Tech Gen4 Magazine Release is machined from Billet 6061 Aluminum then black Mil Spec hard anodized for added durability. The part features an extended design with an aggressive rearward rake. The face of the magazine release is checkered(see PICTURE) for a non slip grip that also matches the factory frame texture. Magazine release fits Gen 4 Glocks and is a direct replacement of the factory part

Got wrong item sent (not really, got the new version instead of the old version)
I have received the new version of this extended magazine release even though the older version was displayed in the product description. I'm going to send it back for exchange or refund. I have been looking for the older version as I have great experience with that one (use it on my Glock 19). Response from Chuck- Not a fair review since it has nothing to do with the item itself. We didn't send you the wrong item , we sent the newest version of the same part number. We did have the old version picture up that had checkering instead of the new texture to match the frame. You already knew there was a new version and if you had asked we would have looked at it and told you up front. We have no issue with you returning it.
